Ensembles

Clarinet Trio

The Clarinet Trio is my primary ensemble. It consists of James Antonucci on clarinets and saxophones, Bill Carbone on percussion, and myself on string bass, bass clarinet, and electronics. This group primarily plays my compositions which range from jazz-derived pieces to clarinet chamber music pieces to ensemble works with electronics. This group is also sometimes expanded to include more clarinets and/or percussionists.
Bruxism

Bruxism is a collaboration with vocalist Anne Rhodes. We perform compositions for voice and bass clarinet, string bass, electronics, and bullhorns.
Kalle

Kalle is my solo electronics project. I perform using a computer running Supercollider software. I also perform solo with bass clarinet, string bass, percussion, organs, flutes, and other instruments. Also see the Recordings page for a free music download.

Side Projects

Anthony Braxton Sextet and 12+1tet

Since 2005, I have had the great honor of performing in Anthony Braxton's Sextet and 12+1tet. I appear on the 9cd + dvd box set on Firehouse 12 records, on the 12+1tet (Victoriaville) record on Victo Records, as well as on a release by the Anthony Braxton Quartet on Important Records with Aaron Siegel, Max Heath, and Anthony.
